Welcome to Mad Mountain Snowmobile Adventures, a premier destination for Black Hills snowmobiling fun. Conveniently located along Black Hills Snowmobile Trail #5 at Recreational Springs. Mad Mountain Snowmobile Adventures is your gateway to exploring more than 320 miles of snowmobile trails that traverse the Black Hills. At Mad Mountain Snowmobile Adventures, we are proud to offer one of the largest fleets of premium snowmobiles in the Black Hills to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your party. We are now offering gear rentals. Boots, snow pants, and coats will be available to rent for an additional charge. Helmets are included in the snowmobile rental cost. Our 2020 Snowmobile Fleet: 2021 Polaris Indy 550 2021 Polaris Indy 550 LXT 2021 Polaris Indy 650 VR1 Winter Season: Dec 15 - Mar 15, Hours: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.. Closed December 25. A signed rental agreement must be completed by all parties prior to departing Mad Mountain Adventures Snowmobile Damages Each operator will be responsible for ANY damage to the rented snowmobile. During the check-out procedure, any pre-existing conditions must be noted on the check-out form at time of rental.| Re-Fueling Policy All snowmobiles leave with a full tank of fuel and are to be re-fueled before returning the machine. Fuel station is located on the property for your convenience. A refueling charge of $45.00 may be charged if returned not full of fuel. Cancellation Policy: Poor Weather Policy If we determine the weather is too poor to ride, there will be no cancellation charges. Minimum Age of Operator: Must be 14 or older and have a valid drivers license to rent. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Policies

Written Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens, if for some reason you are unable to keep your reservation, we ask at least a 5 day notice so that we are able to find someone else to rent the machine. If you were to cancel within 5 days of your reservation, you will be charged for a percentage of the balance. For Example, if you cancel 6 days prior to your reservation, you are out your $50 per machine, per day non-refundable deposit, but your card will not be charged the balance. If you cancel 5 days before, you will be charged 25% of the balance due. If you cancel 4 days prior to your reservation, you will be charged 50% of the balance due. If you cancel 3 days prior to your reservation, you will be charged 75% of the balance due. If you cancel 2 days prior to your reservation, you will be charged 100% of the balance due, If you cancel 1 day prior to your reservation, you will be charged 100% of the balance due. If you cancel the day of or fail to show, you will be charged 100% of the balance due. All service fees are non refundable.
Written Deposit Policy
Full payment at time of booking. There will be a $5.00 oil charge at check-in. Additional cost for gas, oil, clothing and damages to the sled will be collected by the rental company.
Other Policy
Located at Recreational Springs, 11201 US Hwy 14A Lead, SD 57754. | Credit Card required for incidentals or damages done to the snowmobile. Sled must be filled with gas at end of rental.
Children
Must have a driving permit and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while operating snowmobile and parent or guardian must also complete and sign the rental form. Each operator must be at least 14 years-old with a parent.
