Season: Open December 15th through March (snow permitting) Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM Special Requirement: Must be 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Recreational Springs Resort offers several different types of snowmobiles for all types of terrain. We have newer 660 & 550 snowmobiles that are fuel efficient and great for the environment. They are very smooth and offer a great riding experience. These Polaris Rocky Mountain King Snowmobiles have 136 inch tracks. Trails open December 15th in the Black Hills, South Dakota. Recreation Springs Resort is located on Trail #5; 4 miles south of Lead on Highway 85. Recreational Springs Resort is also near Deadwood gaming casinos. Recreational Springs also offers rentals for snowmobile outfits - Helmets are required with snowmobiles riding, rental cost for helmets is $10.00. This will be collected directly at Recreational Springs. Additional items available for rent; snowmobile suit, gloves and boots - $20.00 per person.

Policies

Written Cancellation Policy
If this reservation is cancelled 3 days or more prior to arrival, there will be a refund of the deposit minus the 5% handling fee and $25 cancellation fee. If cancelled within 3 days of arrival the reservation is nonrefundable.
Written Deposit Policy
20% at time of booking. Final payment taken 3 days prior to arrival. If you are a no-show or don't call to cancel your reservation you will be charged for your entire stay. Additional cost for gas, oil, clothing and damages to the sled will be collected by the rental company.</br>

Helmets are required, Helmets available with rental for $10.00 and insurance available. </br> Pickup snowmobiles at Recreational Springs Resort, located on Hwy 85/14A west of Lead. Call 24 hours prior to re-confirm your reservation 605-584-1228. Office hours 7:30am - 5pm. Renters must be 18 years or older, have a valid drivers license and a major credit card.</br> Additional cost for gas, oil, clothing and damages to the sled will be collected by the rental company.
